We are deeply humbled that The Alvarez Firm founder Justin M. Alvarez was recognized as Attorney of the Year at the St. Thomas More Society of Orange County's annual Red Mass this year.  Justin and the entire firm are incredibly grateful for this honor, especially in light of the past honorees and other members who have so admirably served the Catholic legal community of Orange County and beyond.

Justin is especially touched to be honored by a St. Thomas More Society that has been such a deep part of his life.  When serving as President of the Notre Dame Law School St. Thomas More Society he identified Orange County’s society as one of the best in the nation and modeled many activities at Notre Dame after Orange County’s successful programs. Justin later became a member of the St. Thomas More Society of Orange County in 2002 when he launched his career in Brea at American Suzuki Motor Corporation. He has held deep friendships with many members in the two decades since. This rich history makes Justin’s receipt of this award even more meaningful to him, and his gratitude even deeper.

The St. Thomas More Society is named for an English lawyer, judge, social philosopher, author, statesman and theologian who served Henry VIII as Lord Chancellor from October 1529 to his martyrdom in May 1532.  The society is committed to promoting and upholding the highest ethical standards in the legal field, with a particular focus on fostering integrity within the Catholic legal community.
